Brigidine School Windsor provides a comprehensive facility for parents who require extended day care for their children. This is available between 8.00am to 5.50pm and includes:
Breakfast Club
Breakfast is available for all pupils in the Dining Room between 8.00am and 8.30am. A range of healthy breakfast food and drinks are available to purchase.
Early Club - 8.00am – 8.20am
This is for pupils in Nursery – Year 4. Parents are welcome to drop their children off in the Junior School Library from 8.00am – 8.20am after which pupils will be taken into their classrooms. There is no charge but parents must sign up for this facility (we regret we cannot accept pupils on an ad-hoc basis).
Junior Homework and Clubs - 3.30pm – 5.15pm
Pupils in Years 3 – 6 may stay on for refreshments in the Dining Room then go to Homework and Clubs until 5.15pm. Please see further details on our webpage ‘Junior Homework and Clubs’. If required, pupils may then stay on after Homework and Clubs until 5.50pm by signing-up to Late Club. There is a charge for pupils attending Late Club between 5.15pm and 5.50pm.
End of Day - Optional Additional Lesson - 3.30pm and 4.10pm
This is for pupils in Nursery – Year 2 who have sisters to be collected from the Senior School at 4.10pm, or for children staying on for Late Club. This will include a variety of curriculum areas, such as storytelling, puzzles, outdoor play, building and board games, arts/craft activities. Parents are required to sign up for this - there is no charge.
End of Day - Late Club - 4.10pm – 5.50pm
This is for children in Nursery – Year 2 and starts at 4.10pm. Pupils have a drink and a snack. They may stay in Late Club up until 5.50pm which is the same finishing time for the Senior School pupils at Supervised Study. Pupils participate in a variety of activities, such as arts/craft activities, building and board games, outdoor play, storytelling, puzzles. There is a charge for this facility and a full half term’s notice is required to cancel attendance.
After-School Emergencies
If parents are delayed collecting their children after 3.30pm due to an emergency, we will of course look after their children until they arrive.
