Brigidine School, Windsor offers a continuous education for girls from 2-18 years and boys form 2-11years. Founded in 1948 as a Catholic school by sisters of the Order of St Brigid, Brigidine welcomes all faiths and abilities. The school is located on the M4 corridor.
Brigidine School is a happy, caring and inspirational environment in which children enjoy and develop a lifelong love of learning and want to achieve their full potential. Our dedicated staff and framework of pastoral care ensure that students have an appropriately challenging curriculum matched to their ability. Every student is a member of a House and the older students work with the younger ones in a variety of House competitions.
If the evidence of a good school is in its examination results, then Brigidine School scores highly. With 65% of A level grades A* - B, 90% of A level grades A* - C and majority of the leavers going on to full time education.
Students at Brigidine School enjoy large grounds, excellent facilities, and a range of sporting, musical, drama and artistic opportunities. We offer a rich and exciting programme of extra-curricular activities including rowing and equestrian lessons enjoyed in the most beautiful learning environments, Windsor Great Park. There is supervision before and after school. There is also an onsite Chef and Uniform Shop.
The most recent ISI Inspection Report, October 2010, states: “Strong and effective teaching enables pupils of all abilities to make good progress. Throughout the school pupils’ attitudes to their learning are excellent. The personal development of pupils is outstanding, resulting in confident, articulate and well-rounded young people.”
