Library Induction for Sixth Form Pupils
As part of Brigidine’s induction day(s) to the Sixth Form, all pupils entering Year 12 will receive instruction and guidance on how to make use of the Libraries at Brigidine and its online catalogue.
Sixth form pupils may borrow up to 4 items at any one time and should be booked out with the Librarian.
Access to external libraries
We do encourage all pupils to become members of their local public library. Public Libraries now offer a 24/7 access to E-Libraries which will compliment resources available in school and support projects. These external resources are of particular relevance in the Sixth Form pupils as EPQs (Extended Project Qualification) become more widely used.
