Bad Weather Procedures

In the event of the school needing to be closed, a number of actions will be taken:-

·         Parents of girls who are brought to school on the minibus will be telephoned at or around 6.30am to inform them that the road conditions are not suitable and present a risk.

·         The closure notice will be sent out by Clarion Call by 7.00 am

·         A notice will be put on the school website.

The decision to close will not be taken lightly but will consider the health and safety of both pupils and staff.

Re-opening will be announced in the same way.
